DO YOU DO CUSTOM WORK?
Yes I take commissions! Feel free to reach out to me for any project you have in mind. I love being able to bring your ideas to life . If you would like an article of clothing painted, you can mail be the item of clothing and I will ship it back to you once completed. The shipping fee will be included in the overall price.
I WANT A COMMISSIONED PAINTING/LOGO/ILLUSTRATION. WHERE DO I START?

Please email me at theshaymonae@gmail.com, DM's via instagram are fine for quick questions and responses, however emailing me directly is the most efficient way for me to keep track of your order. All emails are checked daily. Please provide as much detail as possible. Prices vary based on size, detail, materials, style, and time you'd like the piece to be completed. I typically answer messages within 72 hours.
ARE DEPOSITS REQUIRED?
Yes. A 50% deposit is required before I begin each piece. The deposit is included in the overall price of the item. Deposits are non-refundable once the artwork is started and materials are purchased. Percentage is negotiable on pieces $200 and up..
HOW LONG DO COMMISSIONED PIECES TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Completion times vary piece by piece based on size, detail, materials needed, etc. Need a piece completed by a certain date? Please include that in your initial email and we'll work out a schedule. I am only one person but I try my hardest to complete all requested work in a timely fashion. It's always best to request a painting no less than a month prior to your desired date.
DO YOU DO LOGO'S?
Yes, I design logos! Please check my instagram bio to see if my commissions are "open" or "closed". DM's are sufficient for brief questions but the very best way to contact me with the details of your brands design and image is through email. If you are looking for a drawn image for print (book covers, illustration, clothing, or any merchandise) please also include your printers preferred sending method in your email.
I WROTE A BOOK! CAN YOU ILLUSTRATE IT?
Yes! All book illustration requests require a signed contract between you and I to get the process started! I will provide the contract following our conversation about your book.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR A PAINT AND SIP/PAINT PARTY?
Please email me to book me for paint parties and private events! In your email, include all the specifics of your event (location, time, date, etc.) and I will get back to you with my booking prices and availability.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR A BODY PAINTING/PHOTOSHOOT?
Body painting/live body painting can also be booked via email. My body painting price list can be found at the bottom of the living canvases page of this website. Please let me know at least 1-2 weeks in advance of your photoshoot/event before booking so that I can have the needed supplies prepared. I am located in Washington, D.C now! If the photoshoot or event is elsewhere, a travel fee will be added. Prices for body painting vary based on number of models I will be painting, body coverage, and materials needed for the painting. All of this information is included on the price list.
